  1. Doug – Thank you for your commitment to doing these video readings of your book. I recently read Ron Nash’s book “The Word of God and the Mind of Man.” From my reading, it seems that Nash generally concurs with Clark’s assessment of Augustine”s philosophy of the Logos doctrine of illumination but that Nash still leaves more room for sensory inputs as a contributor to human cognition than Clark did. In your opinion, was Clark’s reading of Augustine more correct than Nash in this aspect of Augustine’s thought?

    1. I don’t know that either read Augustine incorrectly. But Nash’s own philosophy might be more akin to Augustine than is Clark’s.
