While driving through western Pennsylvania this morning I stopped in the town of Prospect where there is buried Rev. James Armstrong Clark, the paternal grandfather of Gordon H. Clark. The gravesite is at the cemetery of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect where an obelisk marks the location. A number of other family members are apparently buried there as well. Interestingly, his first wife Margaret Scott is among those at this site, but his second wife (who outlived him) is buried in another town nearby. The obelisk, which appears to be made of some kind of metal (not stone) has a large crack on one corner.
